If you want to be informed of new posts I advise you to use a reader (Feedly seems to be popular, I use The oldreader myself). Personally, I hate the 'subscribe via e-mail' pop ups you get on so many sites these days. As for social media, I am more than capable of setting up a twitter, facebook or instagram account. And nothing wrong with those things for certain subjects. I just don't see the use of them for a personal finance site.
